Definitely a fan of the bikini wax by Suzy. The salon is super cute, and the stuff she uses is nice quality, and she's really focused on having things be sanitary and clean. This is super important, because when it comes to bikini waxing, we should all be really concerned with cleanliness. Anyway, next time i'm in the area i'll be sure to go back. $35 is a reasonable price, and the place is locally owned and operated by Suzy herself. The staff seemed really happy to be there, and all the patrons did too. Thanks! |

Face down, a$$ up, that's the way we like to... wax? If you want every single teeny tiny hair gone from all possible crevices, then YES. Don't misunderstand, Suzi does not request all fours right away. You first get to relax while your front business is done. But when the time comes, you will indeed assume this position. Not a problem for me and let's face it -- are you going for a full brazilian if you are the uptight type? However, it seems only right to let you know it's coming.
Suzi is an expert waxer. Being away from home, I had researched like a madwoman all the important things in life like pedis, waxing, and hairstylists. Even contacted people directly to ask questions because I am just that insane. Anyway, Suzi was by far the most direct and responsive to my inquiries and I do not regret the choice. She uses a combination of soft and hard waxes. Not what I am accustomed to and I will admit to being nervous because of this. For no reason, as it turned out. All was well. By the end of our time together she had me in a position no woman has ever before. Did I like it? I'll never tell. |

For years I wondered if I would ever get an eyebrow shape that I would like. It won't be an exaggeration if I say that in last few years I practically tried every known salon in orange county LA. However, once moved to Roseville I decided to try Charmed Hair Salon after reading a some positive reviews online and I am so glad that I finally found a person who I absolutely love. Suzi did my eyebrows for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised to see the difference that it has made to my looks. She is very gentle, consistent and a perfectionist in what she does.
Glad I found her.

For the first time in 39 years, I left a salon happy with the services I received. I just happened to find Charmed online and was so impressed by the reviews that Kara has received from her clients. I lucked out and was able to get an appointment with her right away. Kara did a FABULOUS cut and color. She gave me exactly what I was asking for and it turned out beautiful. My husband even gave it the double thumbs-up. I will definitely be a return customer. Thank you Kara, you're awesome. |

Hidden Gem in Roseville!
I am 39 years old and I have never had more than an eyebrow wax. I decided to try a Brazilian and went to Suzi, the owner of Charmed. What a relief! While I'm certainly no shrinking violet, I'll admit I was nervous. Suzi made me comfortable and less embarrassed about the whole thing. The pain was minimal and very short-lived. I have recently moved home to Roseville after more than a decade and found Suzi and Charmed because of this site. I hope my comments will help others find the hidden gem I have found. PS.... Suzi waxes and tints my brows also and my daughter has her first hair appointment with Amber next week. Charmed will definitely be my "go to" place for beauty needs. Charmed also caries a wonderful line of facial products by Rhonda Allison. Though I had never heard of the line, Suzi recommended it. After trying few of the products, I have gone back and purchased others. Great products and I see a noticeable difference in my skin. |

For those of you who have experienced sweating palms and nausea at the thought of someone ripping your hair out "down there," Suzi is there to save the day.
I have been to different establishments for Brazilian waxes before and while there are other decent places out there, Suzi provides, by far, the LEAST painful experience. I'm not sure if it's her technique, the type of wax, the position she prefers for getting the "nooks and crannies," or if she's mastered the Jedi Mind Trick. Whatever it is, I'm going back for more. I'm a BIG baby when it comes to pain and I don't even get nervous before getting "Suzi'd." Special note: Suzi, I hope you don't mind that I turned you into a verb :-
Let's face it... waxing is one of those skills/jobs for which people are more often chastised than complimented. I imagine few estheticians are rarely told, "Thank you", "That was great!" or "I wish it wasn't over!" It would be tough to have a job where people perceive you to be a cross between the IRS taking your money for a service you don't really "want" and a sadist with a legal torture device. So, hats-off to all out there who subject themselves to prettying up our 'hoo-haws', while being cursed at. Most importantly, a special thank you and rockstar award to Suzi! |

Fabulous attentive staff!!
I photographed one of my clients a bride getting her hair & makeup done at Charmed on May 22nd. They took such great care of the bride. Not only was her hair & makeup flawless, but the experience they provided her was the icing on the cake! |

Kara did my hair last week - she did a fantastic job, both color and cut. I LOVE it! I even had a girl ask me the next day WHERE I get my hair cut total stranger, she loved it! and I eagerly shared with her. Then, still a few days later, my sister asked, as well, and now will be calling her. I do not say these compliments lightly, I usually never like a haircut more than a day! Not only is Kara a great hairdresser - she is an extremely nice and personable gal and a very hard worker. HIGHLY recommended. Thanks Kara - will definitely be back. Kat |

I move here about a year and a half ago from Humboldt county... I was nervous about finding a new hair person soooo I was driving home about every six weeks to get my hair done by my regular guy... then I met Christina at my best friends wedding and we chatted a little bit.... she told me I should come in.... I was a little bit hesitant but really I needed a cut and wasn't going to make it home... so I called... I am soo happy I did.... Christina was very good and did what I asked her... she didn't pressure me to cut my hair short.. She offered suggestions when I asked... she really listened to me and what I wanted....She is awesome....I highly recommend her!!! Thank you Christina!!!! |

I am somewhat new to the Sacramento area... after I moved here a year and a half ago I was sstill driving 6 hours home to get my hair done... you know how us girls can be about a bad hair cut...Anywho a very good friend of mind recommended Christina, So I called her up made an appointment and all I can say is she did a FABULOUS job!! I am super happy with my hair.. she listened to what I wanted and even gave me some idea's. She did NOT pressure me to choose a style I didn't like or to go shorter like alot of other stylist's do. I totally recommend her!!! Thank you Christina!!! |

I have gotten brazillian waxes at a few other places and always came out of the salon disappointed. At charmed, they do an amazing waxing job and they are cheaper than all the other terrible ones ive gotten from other places. |

I'm a first timer with Charmed and I am extremely pleased! I went and got my Brazilian wax for the first time in a year and half place I had it done was horrible!. Suzi not only squeezed me in a day and a half before but she was fast, courteous and very friendly. The waxing itself had minimal pain and I am very satisfied with the results. I would suggest this place to anyone I know. |

Christina has been doing my hair for over a year now and I have to tell you...I'll never see anyone else! She's always very professional and fun, but above all, she is great at what she does. I get compliments on my haircut quite often and I owe it all to her.

Well I was a typical girl always dying my own hair out of the box and getting my hair cut once a year or so at a not so great salon or should I say, great clips, now that I look back on it I can't believe that I actually went around town looking like that, then I finally went to a "professional" that my mom took me to and I ended up with a mullet, thats right a mullet, I was devistated and voued never to leave my precious locks in the hands of someone else, mean while bleaching, cutting and eventually frying off my hair to the point of no return, then one day I saw someones hair that looked so awesome I just had to ask where she got it done, she told me a lady named kara was an expert colorist and gave me her number, I have been seeing kara for six years now and have never been happier with my hair its the color I want the length I want and she is always willing to update and change my style with my mood wich changes frequently so anyone looking for a great new stylist should definately go to her I recommend her 100%. |

My stylist moved away about 3 years ago and I was terrifed to have someone else do my hair. A friend referred me to Kara Baker. I was very nervous but when I met her she assured me it would turn out great. We had a great conversation and I love how it turned out! I love my hair super Barbie blonde and she is able to do this without making my hair too white or orange. I trust her 110%, shes up with all the new cuts and styles! As long as Kara is doing hair, I will be going to her. I have referred many of my friends and family that have been satisfied returning customers! Kara is GREAT! |

I live in Hawaii and I go to Charmed Salon every time I come to CA just to have my hair done by Christina Barnes. She is an excellent stylist and fantastic with color. I haven't been able to find anyone else that is able to listen so precisely to what I'm asking for and produce such a great result with my sun and salt damaged hair. She is very educated on all the new styles, full of great ideas and suggestions, and I really cant say enough about how great she is with color. Whether I'm feeling the beach blonde look, the darker winter look, or just looking for some fun highlights, she never disappoints me! I wish I could duplicate her or steal her away to Hawaii. I definitely recommend this salon and her specifically. |

Kara's great, I went to her to cut and color my hair even though it was fried from at home bleaching/coloring. She did a fantastic job, my hair is beautiful. I trusted her to choose the right colors for me and now my eyes pop, she really knows what looks best, you can trust her. I'll be going to her from now on: She also did a friend of mines hair and she's really happy too.
ps. if you want to keep your length, she wont chop all your hair off like most stylist will lol..Awesome!! |

My first visit with Kara Baker was several weeks ago and I'm still thrilled with my hair! Kara's most wonderful quality, in addition to her great skill set, is that she really listens to you and then gives you what you ask for. I desperately needed a trim but didn't want to lose any length surprised? lol - my hair grows soooo slow! plus I need to pull it back for work. Kara gave me a "perfect for me" trim. She also gave me amazing highlights and my hair looks just like it did when the sun used to lighten it naturally : I highly recommend Kara to everyone 100%!! |

i had my hair cut a few weeks ago with kara. i got exactly what i asked for and i really appreciated that. i asked for kara based off some reviews i saw on this site and i agree with them, she was great. i asked for an inch off and that was all she took. i will for sure be back! |
